Medical and AlignLife Chiropractic Communities Helping Moms Enjoy Pregnancy

Lafayette, Indiana (PRWEB) March 18, 2014 - An international lecturer and writer in the field of chiropractic pediatrics has moved to the Lafayette community for a few reasons: one, to be closer to her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; two, to enjoy the quality of life amenities this area has to offer and three, to play bigger in her profession.

"In my 30 plus years in chiropractic, I have seen a movement toward a more natural lifestyle. I truly believe that if people know how they can avoid drugs, surgery and illness, they want to do that," Dr. Cherie Goble of AlignLife Chiropractic said. "My goal is to assist women in a positive birthing experience, while working hand in hand with all birth professionals. I know that chiropractic can help mother's enjoy a healthier pregnancy and birth. I want to see how I can help bring this knowledge and experience to the medical community in this area."

Goble has practiced chiropractic for more than three decades and teaches chiropractic students and doctors around the world. She is also a contributing author in the Textbook for Pediatric Chiropractic edited by Dr. Gregory Plaugher. With the movement toward a more holistic lifestyle, Goble has also seen medical practitioners open their perspectives on chiropractic.

"There is a new willingness in some to work together in the interest of the patient," she said. "In the past there was an antagonistic and adversarial relationship and today it seems to be moving in a more positive direction. For example, when a friend of mine went to a local hospital to start her pregnancy care through a midwife on staff there, the intake forms asked if she was seeing a chiropractor. That's progress."

Goble sees patients of all age two days a week in theLafayette AlignLife office and two days a week in the AlignLife Winamac office. The rest of her time is still spent mentoring young doctors and students as well as enjoying her family and the Lafayette area.
