Second Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Store Opens in Indiana

(PRWEB) March 18, 2014 - Sub Zero Ice Cream and Yogurt has officially opened a second store in Indiana. The new store, located in New Albany, is roughly 100 miles south of the Indianapolis store. The new Indiana store marks the 33rd Sub Zero location to open in the last ten years.

The New Albany store soft opened this last weekend and is officially accepting customers to try this unique, flash frozen ice cream. As the first of its kind in the area, the people of New Albany are in for an extra special treat. Storeowner, Michael Ries is a first time franchise owner and couldn’t be more excited to bring Sub Zero to the area.

"New Albany has never seen ice cream made this fresh and customized for each customer," Ries said. "The unique dessert concept coupled with an entertainment factor is exactly what our community would enjoy."

To properly introduce his store to the community, Ries plans to hold a grand opening event in the next few weeks with coupons and deals for customers. Representatives from the city have been contacted for a ribbon cutting ceremony as part of the grand opening. Since Sub Zero is new to any area east of Salt Lake, Ries is excited to gain the support of the local community and spread the unique concept of liquid nitrogen ice cream in Indiana.

"One of the best aspects of Sub Zero’s process is the ability to cater to many allergy needs," Ries said. "That alone makes ice cream a favorite treat to those who were forced to give it up or have never tried it."

The New Albany store is located at 3012 Charlestown Crossing Way, New Albany, IN. To learn more about the store, the upcoming grand opening event or catering opportunities, contact the store at 812-924-7193 or visit the store page on Facebook under "Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt- New Albany, IN."
