Caring Transitions of Greater Washington D.C. Recognized by EstateSale.com

Silver Springs, MD (PRWEB) March 18, 2014 - Robert Ray's business, Caring Transitions of Greater Washington D.C., was recently recognized with two Excellence in Marketing Awards from EstateSale.com - Most Viewed in the State and Top 50 Most Viewed in the Country.

The business, which first launched in September of 2011, specializes in organizing and managing senior moves, downsizing, liquidation of belongings and estate sales. Caring Transitions of Greater Washington D.C. serves Chevy Chase, Bethesda, Silver Spring, greater D.C and Arlington, Virginia.

According to the award letter from EstateSale.com, these awards recognize Ray's placement in the top 50 out of 2,300 estate sale companies that used http://www.EstateSale.com during 2013 and the top viewed company in Maryland.

"I had no idea I was among the top viewed companies. For me, being recognized means that while I've worked to provide the best service possible for my clients, I've also been making an impact on a larger scale," Ray said. "We have more than 1,000 estate sale followers, so when I send an email or an update, we often have people calling to ask if they can buy the items outright. It's not uncommon to have a variety of items guaranteed as sold even before the sale opens."

In addition to posting sales through EstateSale.com, Ray uses Caring Transition's in-house online estate sale system, Craigslist and even newspaper ads to get the best outcomes for his clients.

Ray, who is married with two children, has a background in ministry. He first became interested in Caring Transitions when he worked in the hospital and with hospice care.

"I've always enjoyed working with seniors and I saw a true need for the services Caring Transitions provides. With my background and my ability to bring a different level of counseling to the process, I've done a lot of work with real estate professionals, funeral homes, churches and residents who are either looking to clear out an estate of a loved one or just downsize and de-clutter. Our bonded and insured employees can even help with document shredding," Ray said.

In addition to his expertise and experience, Ray also uses the Caring Transitions planning software to assist with space planning, which can be a big help when you're looking to downsize.

"We can look at the furniture and items you have in the house currently and compare the space of your new home. Through using our software, you can know upfront what's going to fit in the new place and what we should look at selling. It takes the guess work out of everything," he said.

"Being the owner of Caring Transitions has really given me a new sense of purpose because I know my involvement is making a difference for our clients. I bring a sense of calm and ease to an often confusing, frustrating and sad situation," Ray said.
