CUPS Offers UVa Free Frozen Yogurt When 'Hoos Basketball Wins

CUPS Frozen Yogurt – That's Hot™, the just opened beach-themed self-serve fro-yo store located at the Barracks Road Shopping Center, is celebrating every UVa win in the tournament by giving out the first 4 ounces of frozen yogurt for free to all Cavaliers students and faculty from 4-7 pm the day following a win. Students and faculty valid must show a valid UVa ID to receive the offer.
"The hometown 'Hoos have has had one of the successful seasons in school history with the best record in over 30 years," said Rick Barbrick, CUPS co-founder. "We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate every UVa win than with all the students and faculty.
Since opening the first CUPS in New Jersey in 2010, CUPS has taken the frozen yogurt industry by storm, becoming the local hot spot for teenagers and adults alike who make their own fro-yo concoctions choosing from 18 yogurt flavors and over 50 different toppings and three sauces. CUPS, with 20 locations in five states, chose Charlottesville for its first location in Virginia.
The Charlottesville CUPS is located at the Barracks Road Shopping Center (between Chipotle and Burger King), 973 Emmet Street North. CUPS is open from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm Sunday through Thursday and from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday.
