Dentons Paris Names Four of Counsels: Anne-Sophie Dufêtre, Jessie Gaston, Claire Picard and Marion Richard-Toniolo

Anne-Sophie Dufêtre is specialized in international arbitration (commercial and investment arbitrations). She joined Dentons in 2009, after first practicing law with Debevoise & Plimpton LLP for three years. Anne has a Masters in international public law from the Institut Universitaire de Hautes Études Internationales de Genève (2004), and a double degree in law (civil and common law) from McGill University in Montréal (2002). She also has a degree from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Lyon (1997) and took place in an exchange program with Georgetown University’s School.

Jessie Gaston is specialized in international and transactional tax law, tax litigation and tax issues relating to employee shareholding plans. She regularly advises multinational companies in the luxury and real estate sectors. Jessie joined Dentons in 2007, after first practicing law with Jeantet Associés from 2006 to 2007, and previously was with Landwell/PWC from 2004 to 2006. Jessie is trilingual and has a DJCE with a certificate in tax law from Robert Schuman University in 2002.

Claire Picard is specialized in national and international general commercial litigation and tort law. She also works on complex transnational litigation: multiple procedures in different states, representing foreign companies before French courtrooms, representing foreign legal authorities to obtain recognition of foreign judgments in France, and assistance with discovery and disclosure proceedings. She advises numerous clients in the health, press, sport, transportation, steel and textile industries. In addition, she has advised and assisted foreign administrators and legal representatives on their nominations in France, for safeguarding assets in the French territory and with discovery and disclosure proceedings. Claire joined Dentons in December 2000, after first practicing law with Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton for three years. She has a Masters from the Paris Ecole Supérieure de Commerce (1996), an LLM from Reading University in the UK, (1995) and a diploma in British law from the Paris X University (Masters and DEJA in 1994).

Marion Richard-Toniolo specializes in legal issues in the luxury sector. Marion’s expertise in this field makes it possible for her to assist clients in production (drafting subcontractor contracts, preparing specifications, managing relations with suppliers, etc.); as well as in distribution (franchises, corner distribution, conditions of sales, etc.). She manages contractual relations and pre-litigation situations and also helps clients conform to regulatory and sector developments (WEEE, codes of ethics, etc.) Marion joined Dentons in 2002, after practicing at Cordelier & Associés from 2000-2002 and at the Fidilis group from 1999 to 2000. She has a DEA in business law from Paris II - Panthéon Assas University (1997) and a DEA in private law from Paris I - Panthéon Sorbonne University (1995).
