Caring Transitions of South Denver Franchise Earns Recognition

Denver, CO (PRWEB) March 25, 2014 - When Jody and Jerry Bost decided it was time to open their own business, they didn’t have to look far to find Caring Transitions. Jody’s brother Jeff Rea owns a Dallas-based Caring Transitions franchise with his wife Donna.

"We saw how much they absolutely loved the work they were doing, so when we decided to open a business, it made sense to become Caring Transitions owners. It’s a franchise that provides a much needed service and allows us to make a positive difference," Jody said.

Now, just barely a year after opening Caring Transitions of South Denver Suburbs, the Bosts have been recognized by the Caring Transitions corporate team as the 2014 Co-Rookies of the Year.

The Rookie of the Year designation is awarded to newer franchise owners who have demonstrated a dedication to the success of their business and to the success of the Caring Transitions brand. They are owners who have worked to lay a solid foundation for their business while contributing to the Caring Transitions community. This year’s recognition was given to two new franchises – Caring Transitions of South Denver and Caring Transitions of Frisco, Texas.

"Jody and Jerry Bost have had significant growth in all areas of their business since opening in April 2013. They serve clients in all areas of the business, senior relocations, physical estate sales, online auctions and downsizing. They also help us at the corporate office in conveying the benefits of how this business serves the needs of our clients by communicating with potential business owners," Caring Transitions President Chris Seman said. "These are just a few ways that Jody and Jerry have really shown their dedication to the system and the business."

Caring Transitions of South Denver’s Suburbs specializes in organizing and managing senior moves, downsizing and liquidation of belongings through estate sales. In addition to the packing, unpacking and mover coordination of the physical moving services, Caring Transitions can help with sorting, organizing, space planning, online auctions and more.

Before opening Caring Transitions, Jody spent more than 25 years in commercial landscape management and Jerry, an Army veteran, was an air-craft mechanic, provided commercial telecommunication system installation, and for the past 8 years he owned his own handyman business. Their history in business management and project coordination provides a solid basis for owning their business. The team went to training in February of 2013 and the business officially launched in April.

"We started marketing immediately after training and it was a little slow at first. In May things started to pick up and, since June, things have been extremely busy. There’s a huge need in the Denver Metro area for the services Caring Transitions provides and we’re thrilled to be here to help. It’s extremely rewarding work," Jerry said.

Although business has been great for the last eight months, the Co-Rookie of the Year Award still caught the pair off-guard.

"We were very surprised and honored to win the Rookie of the Year Award from Caring Transitions. We enjoy working with seniors and their families. We find the history of many clients is quite interesting and our entire team enjoys hearing their stories. Our goal as a company is to make this life transition as stress-free as possible and to make every client as comfortable as possible by creating familiarity in their new home. All of our employees are dedicated to making that happen," Jody said.
