Nixon Peabody Named Terralex Member Firm for Rhode Island

March 26, 2014 // Franchising.com // Providence, RI. - Nixon Peabody is honored to become the TerraLex member firm for the state of Rhode Island. TerraLex is a worldwide network of more than 155 leading independent law firms in 100 countries and 44 U.S. states. In addition to Rhode Island, our firm represents the TerraLex network in New York and Massachusetts. We look forward to continuing to provide excellent service and valuable assistance to the clients of our network member firms in this now expanded, three-state geography.

Providence office managing partner, Neal McNamara, and head of our Business and Finance Department, Steve Zubiago, will serve as Terralex member representatives for Rhode Island. Nixon Peabody has been active in the TerraLex network for more than two decades. Harry Trueheart, our firm's chairman emeritus, is the current chair and CEO of TerraLex.

Nixon Peabody's Providence office provides the full gamut of legal services—with an emphasis on employment, litigation, privacy and corporate services—to a burgeoning services sector focused on health care, real estate development, financial services, insurance and education. We also represent traditional manufacturing companies as well as those innovating in the areas of information, energy and life sciences.

"Rhode Island's diverse and vibrant economy brings us in contact with companies doing business in the state from all over the world," said Providence managing partner, Neal McNamara. "When the phone rings or we receive an e-mail from a TerraLex firm, it could be an opportunity help a new client from any one of the network's 100+ countries."
