Attorney Anthony Calamunci Earns Certified Franchise Executive Designation

Calamunci, has earned his accreditation as a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) through the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives (ICFE).

IFCE's certification requirements are stringent, with a minimum of 3,500 credits required to qualify for the CFE designation. Credits are earned through experience, participation and education. Once the minimum credit requirement has been reached, candidates must be approved by the ICFE Board of Governors before the CFE designation is awarded. The CFE signifies that the recipient has reached a recognized standard of excellence and professionalism in the franchising community.

In addition to his role as head of the firm's Franchise Law Practice Group, Mr. Calamunci serves as the Partner-in-Charge of the Toledo office. He practices within a wide range of franchise law and corporate matters, focusing on franchise law and franchise litigation. Other areas of emphasis include distribution, licensing and supply chain law. He is counsel to a number of U.S. companies, in addition to some foreign companies as well. His clients include both regional and national franchise companies. Mr. Calamunci has been retained to advise a number of companies with techniques for managing regulatory issues. He is the founder of the "Franchise Rescue Team" comprised of top franchise executives focused on creating strategic solutions for underperforming franchisees. He is a frequent writer and speaker on both domestic and international distribution, licensing, and franchising law.
