Beef Jerky Outline Franchise Discovery Day Program in Kodak, Tennessee Friday, April 11

April 08, 2014 // Franchising.com // Beef Jerky Outlet Franchise will hold its monthly Discovery Day program in Kodak, Tennessee on Friday, April 11. The Discovery Day program is designed to educate qualified candidates about the franchise. Attending candidates must be pre-qualified as eligible prospective franchise owners. The all day program includes a variety of informational activities, including tours, presentations and interviews.

The Discovery Day program includes a visit to one of four Smoky Mountain area stores owned by Scott Parker, Beef Jerky Outlet Franchise President. There will also be a tour of a local Smoky Mountain jerky processing plant. Following the tours, there will be a formal presentation of the Beef Jerky Outlet Franchise business model and operations. After the presentation candidates will have the opportunity to engage in a Q & A session with franchise representatives. Individual candidate interviews with franchise development professionals are scheduled following the group presentations.

Beef Jerky Outlet Franchise is expanding nationally at a rapid pace. In 2013 the company grew from 13 to 31 awarded franchises. By the end of June 2014, the company will have awarded at least 45 franchises. Recently, franchises were awarded in Texas, Colorado, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Florida and Alabama. The authentic character of the outlet stores and a practical business model account for the evolving success of the franchise.

Paul Lyons, Beef Jerky Outlet COO, explains the attraction of the franchise concept, “When folks see the store their eyes light up; they want to get in and see what it’s all about. They come inside and there are 200 or more different kinds of jerky and specialty snacks, including exotics like alligator and kangaroo."

Lyons adds that an informal, laid back interaction with the customers is part of the Beef Jerky Outlet's attraction as a franchise. "If you are looking for a quality franchise that is also social and fun, then we may be the right fit for you."
