Peter Schlueter Joins Faegre Baker Daniels' Intellectual Property Practice

April 08, 2014 // Franchising.com // Denver - Peter Schlueter has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as an associate in the intellectual property practice, where he handles patent prosecution and provides litigation support for clients across a range of industries.

Much of Schlueter's work lies at the intersection between intellectual property law and life sciences, and is informed by his decade-long tenure as a research scientist in cellular and molecular biology, developmental genetics and chemical biology prior to attending law school. His client industry history spans the fields of pharmaceuticals, catheter ablation technology and infusion pumps, transgenic plant and animal technology, fertilizer formulations, and wound healing technology.

Schlueter comes to FaegreBD from Patterson Thuente Pedersen, P.A. He received his undergraduate degree from Loras College and Ph.D. in molecular, cellular and developmental biology from the University of Michigan. Schlueter completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School in chemical biology, and earned his J.D. at William Mitchell College of Law.
