Saladworks Searches for Strategic Investor

Dominator of Category Ready for Expansion Stage

April 10, 2014 // // CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. - Saladworks, the nation's first and largest fresh-tossed salad franchise concept, is working to identify highly qualified strategic investors to facilitate the next phase in growth.

Saladworks, in its Growth Stage, is poised for significant expansion. Saladworks' 2013 system wide sales reached 76 million. With 20 stores on target to open in 2014, Saladworks has more than 60 additional units in development. Founded in 1986, Saladworks now boasts over 100 locations both domestically and internationally.

In addition to the potential for explosive growth domestically, Saladworks is beginning to leave its mark on the International landscape. With locations already open in Singapore and Canada, the concept is expanding its presence rapidly. Stores in both Dubai and Qatar will open in 2014.

Saladworks is a pioneer in the Fast Casual industry and was the first entrée sized fresh salad concept of its kind. They have continued to remain the leader in their category and have had steady growth while beginning to benefit from scalability.
