Richard Levan Selected to Law360 Advisory Board

April 11, 2014 // Franchising.com // Philadelphia – Wiggin and Dana is pleased to announce that Richard Levan has been selected to Law360's Securities Editorial Advisory Board for a one-year term.

Richard will work with other board members to collect feedback on Law360's current coverage and offer his professional insight on how to shape future coverage of Law360's securities section. In addition, Richard will use his experience in investment management and white collar defense to identify current legal topics, cases and trends.

Law360 is an online legal news outlet that publishes news and analysis on current legal issues. The securities section of Law360 covers breaking news in securities litigation, white-collar crime and corporate governance.

Richard Levan is a partner in Wiggin and Dana's Litigation Department and the Investment Management, and White Collar Defense, Investigations and Corporate Compliance practice groups, in the firm's Philadelphia, Stamford and New York offices. His practice focuses on the legal and compliance needs of investment advisors, broker-dealers and hedge funds, as well as officers and directors of both private and public companies. In addition to his compliance and counseling background, Mr. Levan has over twenty-five years of experience handling civil and criminal cases initiated by the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, state securities and insurance agencies, and self-regulatory organizations such as FINRA, the New York Stock Exchange, and the Philadelphia Stock Exchange.
