Pizza Pizza Opens in Chateauguay

MONTREAL, QUEBEC - (Marketwired - April 14, 2014) - Pizza Pizza, the country's number one quick-service pizza chain, announces today the opening of a restaurant in Châteauguay, Quebec. Located at 100 Anjou Boulevard, the new Pizza Pizza marks the company's expansion into the Montérégie region. It is the 22nd traditional restaurant to open its doors in the Greater Montreal Area since Pizza Pizza's arrival in the market.

New franchise owner, Sam Roopah, brings several years of restaurant management to the Pizza Pizza banner. He strongly believes that the drive and vigour of the Châteauguay suburban community makes it the ideal location for a new Pizza Pizza restaurant. A staff of ten people (full and part time) currently service neighbouring families, schools and businesses, who all have access to Pizza Pizza's complete menu for dine-in, pick-up or delivery.

With 36 locations spread across the greater Montreal area and Western Quebec, Pizza Pizza employs some 400 people in the province and also operates non-traditional counters in sites that include the Bell Centre, the Saputo Stadium, Concordia and McGill campuses, La Ronde and Cineplex theatres.
