Chicken Salad Chick’s Second Montgomery Location One Week Away

Southern Fast-Casual Restaurant Concept to Open Additional Alabama Franchise

Montgomery, AL (PRWEB) April 15, 2014 - Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s newest, fast-casual restaurant concept, is scheduled to open its second franchise location in Montgomery on April 22, 2014. The new restaurant will be located in the Sturbridge Village at 7946 Vaughn Rd. Montgomery, AL 36116.

"We are so excited to add this new location to the growing Chicken Salad Chick community in Montgomery," said Kevin Brown, president of Chicken Salad Chick. "It is so encouraging that the current demand there has led to the opening of a second location."

Current owners Justin and Cassie Boyd of JustCass, LLC wanted to bring an additional restaurant to Montgomery after the success of their first opening there in October 2012. "This is a very exciting time for our family and business as we look forward to continue serving the Montgomery community," said owner Justin Boyd. "We hope that our passion for providing southern hospitality and palate pleasing food is evident to all who walk through our doors."

Born In Alabama - The Chicken Salad Chick concept was established in Auburn, Ala., in 2008 in the kitchen of founder, Stacy Brown. Stacy quickly learned that selling a homemade recipe from her kitchen is against the law, and after being shut down by the health department, she decided to solicit the business expertise of her future husband and fellow founder, Kevin Brown. Together, they opened a small takeout restaurant which quickly grew to enormous demand and additional locations. The unique concept offers customers a "custom-fit" chicken salad experience, with 15 original flavors to choose from, as well as gourmet soups, flavorful side salads and freshly-baked desserts. Chicken Salad Chick will be developing 85 franchises across the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and North Carolina and South Carolina, and has plans to expand nationally in the next few years.

"We have been enormously blessed with the success and demand we have seen from the current Montgomery location," said Stacy Brown, founder of Chicken Salad Chick. "Montgomery is the first city that we opened a location in outside of Auburn, and we couldn’t be happier with growth we’ve seen there."
