Jeff Peterson Brings Caring Transitions to Central Texas

Austin, TX (PRWEB) April 22, 2014 - Jeff Peterson is looking forward to bringing a new service to Central Texas with his new business, Caring Transitions of Austin. Caring Transitions is America's largest resource specializing in managing senior relocations, downsizing and estate liquidations. In addition to the organizing, packing and move oversight, Caring Transitions can handle on-site or online estate sales, junk removal and cleanout, and preparing homes for market.

Caring Transitions of Austin serves Austin, Westlake, Oak Hill, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Dripping Springs, and the rest of Travis, Williamson and Hayes counties.

"At Caring Transitions, we help members of our community through significant changes in their lives. We are specially trained to be sensitive to the challenges that seniors face when they must downsize due to a life changing event. Our white glove move management services allow families to focus on what's important – helping their elderly loved ones transition as comfortably as possible," Peterson said.

Each Caring Transitions franchisee is a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist, a designation bestowed by an independent organization that evaluates providers of senior relocation services. They are trained, bonded and insured. This new franchise will bring several new jobs to the area as Caring Transitions of Austin grows.

Peterson is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, and graduated with a BBA and a Minor in Russian from Texas Christian University in 1993. He moved to Austin in 1995 and, for the last 19 years, he had worked in sales and management positions with large corporations and small companies in the information technology, business brokerage, audio visual, and maritime security industries.

"I was frustrated with the same old sales meetings, quotas and account sets, and I realized that in order to attain the independence that I desired and the lifestyle that my family deserves I needed to set out on my own," Peterson said.

When he started looking into franchise options and came across Caring Transitions, Peterson thought back to when his family helped his grandmother downsize.

"My parents, brother and I spent days driving loops between Austin, Houston, Freeport and Corpus Christi just taking care of packing, shipping, unpacking and then deciding what to do with all the things a person acquires over 80 years. I would have paid almost anything for someone to help us. I wish Caring Transitions had been around then," Peterson said. "Caring Transitions fills the gaps in services that the movers cannot perform and meets a need that will only grow as the Baby Boomers get older."

Peterson launched Caring Transitions of Austin with the support of his wife Angela, who owns a commercial interior design business. The couple has two children, ages 6 and 9. The family is very active in soccer, Girl Scouts, math club, and other community hobbies.

Founded in 2006, Caring Transitions has been a trusted and highly respected national company leading the way in senior relocation, household liquidations and estate sale management in more than 130 locations across the United States. Caring Transitions is part of the International Franchise Association, the Small Business Association's Franchise Registry, VetFran and Minority Fran.
