Steve Coffman Looks Forward to Helping Neighbors with New Business

Annapolis, MD (PRWEB) April 29, 2014 - Steve Coffman is looking forward to helping his neighbors navigate often difficult life transitions with his new Maryland business, Caring Transitions of Annapolis.

Caring Transitions is America’s largest resource specializing in managing senior relocations, downsizing and estate liquidations. In addition to the organizing, packing, unpacking and move oversight, Caring Transitions can handle on-site or online estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions of Annapolis serves Anne Arundel County Maryland as well as the surrounding areas.

"We are neighbors helping neighbors and I am proud to bring Caring Transition’s services to the Annapolis area. I’m looking forward to working with the people in my community, especially seniors, who are facing what could be difficult life transitions. With our services, those transitions – maybe a senior who is downsizing or moving in with adult children, a family handling the estate of someone who has passed away, downsizing after a divorce – can be more manageable. We are here to make the entire process as smooth as possible," Coffman said.

Each Caring Transitions franchisee is a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist, a designation bestowed by an independent organization that evaluates providers of senior relocation services. They are trained, bonded and insured. This new franchise will bring several new jobs to the area as Caring Transitions of Annapolis grows.

Prior to launching Caring Transitions, Coffman worked for Verizon providing in-home services and network repair for 15 years.

"I decided to make a career change in November and started looking for my next step. That’s when I came across Caring Transitions and it seemed like a perfect fit for me – I wanted to do something that allowed me to make a difference in my community and work with seniors. I’d been working in people’s homes solving communication and networking problems for 15 years, so this felt very natural to me," he said.

Founded in 2006, Caring Transitions has been a trusted and highly respected national company leading the way in senior relocation, household liquidations and estate sale management in more than 130 locations across the United States. Caring Transitions is part of the International Franchise Association, the Small Business Association’s Franchise Registry, VetFran and Minority Fran.
