"Daniel is a Massage Envy Spa member himself and knows first hand the tangible benefits that therapeutic massage can provide both before and after playing golf or doing other physical activity."
Coupled with their Summerhays partnership, the Dallas/Fort Worth Massage Envy Spa locations are also sponsors of the Byron Nelson, the ninth longest-running tournament on the PGA TOUR, which will be played May 15-18, 2014 at the TPC Four Seasons Resort and Club Las Colinas. In addition to the tournament sponsorships, for every birdie Summerhays makes while playing at the Colonial, five Massage Envy Spa gift cards will be donated to the Dallas/Fort Worth Arthritis Association to benefit children suffering from juvenile arthritis.
"Arthritis is the nation’s leading cause of disability and I’m excited for the opportunity to draw more attention to the fact that the disease strikes more than 50 million adults with two-thirds under the age of 65, including 300,000 children," said Summerhays. "I’m also looking forward to meeting a lucky fan and having dinner with them. Massage Envy Spa has made a big difference in my life and this will be a great way to give a little something back."
Massage Envy Spa will also have six massage therapists providing free chair massages at the Massage Envy Spa tent during the Byron Nelson on May 16-17 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day.
