bd's Mongolian Grill Rewards Adventurous Eaters with New Campaign

Leading Stir-Fry Restaurant Chain Encourages Restaurant Goers to Stir-Up the Way They Order with the "Stir It Up, Your Way" Campaign

May 02, 2014 // Franchising.com // Burnsville, Minn. - Now through June 30, bd's Mongolian Grill will offer adventurous eaters a chance to win big discounts whenever they try one of the designated new menu items or have a new bd's experience.

Every new and existing guest will receive a rewards card which is stamped each time a new menu item, like Plum Crazy Queso Dip or Create Your Own Lemonade, is tried. Or, customers can earn stamps whenever they have a new bd's experience, like mentioning the restaurant on social media or buying a gift card. The more new items and experiences at bd's, the more rewards are earned. Guests can earn up to three bd's stamps per visit.

The rewards card offers include:

  • 4 Stamps: 15% off a bowl
  • 7 Stamps: free appetizer or dessert
  • 10 Stamps: free entrée
  • 13 Stamps: $25 Go Mongo gift card

In addition to earning stamps there will also be opportunities to win prizes instantly. Each customer will have a word or phrase written on the back of his or her rewards card. If the word matches the one posted on the Grill Board at the local bd's Mongolian Grill, then the customer will win an instant mystery prize. The word and prize will change daily.

"Part of the fun of going out to eat is trying something new," said Joe Phraner, President and COO of bd's Mongolian Grill. "During this campaign, we hope to encourage customers to think outside of the bowl, and also reward them for their boldness."

In keeping with the goal of widening customer's taste bud experience, bd's is also offering the Berrylicious Cobbler during the campaign. The fresh and light dessert filled with ripe berries is not only perfect for the summer, but will also earn customers a bd's stamp on the rewards card.
