The milestone was commemorated by local officials and community members with a celebratory ceremony and reception. The 230-suite hotel is located at 400 N. State College Boulevard in Orange, C.A. and is conveniently situated only two miles from the Disneyland® Resort, 1.5 miles from the Anaheim Convention Center, and just steps away from Angels Stadium, making it the perfect home base for both business and leisure travelers.
The grand opening celebration kicked off with an official ribbon cutting ceremony including remarks from Markus Kohn, general manager of Embassy Suites Anaheim-Orange, City of Orange Mayor Teresita "Tita " Smith and Talene Staab, Sr. director of brand performance support - Embassy Suites Hotels. The ribbon cutting was followed by a festive reception with a four-piece jazz band, DJ, an array of ice carving displays, culinary creations & mixologists featured in specialty bars. A charity raffle was held to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. The transformation of the hotel from a Hilton Hotels & Resorts property to an Embassy Suites included a complete makeover of suites, meeting space and indoor and outdoor pool facilities. The lobby has been updated with a contemporary design, featuring an atrium restaurant and bar, and the hotel's suites have been redesigned to feature luxurious bathrooms with a separate shower and tub as well as a separate living room with work desk and ergonomic chair.
Embassy Suites Anaheim-Orange features all of the signature amenities that can be found at every Embassy Suites property, including free cooked-to-order breakfast each morning, a two-hour complimentary Evening Reception* and two-room suites with a separate living area, private bedroom, two flat-screen high-definition televisions and wet bar fitted with a microwave, mini-fridge and a selection of gourmet coffee and teas from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
