SBA Express Loan Makes it Easier to Fund Loans Up To $150,000

May 07, 2014 // Franchising.com // DAVIE, Fla. - Dental Fix Rx, LLC, a mobile dental equipment and handpiece repair company, recently began offering a new financing program that allows entrepreneurs with good credit and $25,000 to opt for a franchise.

The program, available through the U.S. Small Business Administration, increases small businesses’ access to working capital. Known as the SBA Express Loan, the program not only makes it easier to fund and process loans up to $150,000, but it also provides a quick approval time.

By offering this new financing program, Dental Fix is making it easier - and faster - to own a franchise. SBA-guaranteed loans provide an alternative to potential franchise owners who might not qualify for other loans and only have the money to cover the initial $25,000 franchise fee. In essence, applicants need a strong credit score of 675 or higher and cannot have a bankruptcy, lien or judgment history.

The SBA Express Loan program provides a 10-year term and interest rates are based on the prime rate (as published in the Wall Street Journal) plus a 2.75 to 4.75 percent SBA Express maximum rate.
