Giant Tiger in Lakefield, ON Celebrates Grand Opening This Saturday!

OTTAWA, ONTARIO - (Marketwired - May 8, 2014) - On Saturday, May 10, 2014, Giant Tiger will celebrate the official opening of its newly renovated store in Lakefield, Ontario.

Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. after a ribbon-cutting ceremony and speeches by some local dignitaries and the Store Owner, Kevin Ott. Giant Tiger is proud to be connected and committed to the communities we serve. There will be a charity BBQ benefitting the Peterborough Huskies special needs hockey team - get a hot dog and a drink for $1.

It will be a fun-filled day with plenty of free activities for customers of all ages, including gift card giveaways to the first 100 customers in store, free face painting, promotional giveaways, Giant Value product sampling, free pictures from the fun Giant Tiger photo booth, and of course visits from Friendly the Giant Tiger! The Melitta event vehicle will also be on site handing out free coffee. For this Saturday only, the doors will stay open until 9:00 pm.
