The Dairy Queen® System Celebrates Mother's Day by Offering DQ® Cakes to New Moms

May 09, 2014 // Franchising.com // MINNEAPOLIS – Dairy Queen® fans are born every day, which is why the DQ® system, part of Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK.A and BRK.B), is presenting moms who give birth on this, the 100th anniversary of Mother's Day, with a signature DQ Cake.

Any mom who gives birth on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11, 2014 can email a copy of her baby's birth certificate to DairyQueen@piersongrant.com by noon Eastern Time on Saturday, May 31, 2014 to receive a gift card for a free DQ Cake. Requests must include the mother's full name, email, phone number and complete mailing address. Many Blizzard® Treat flavors, including the May Blizzard of the Month, Strawberry Shortcake, can easily be made into DQ Cakes.
