Dunkin' Donuts Announces Entry Into Sweden

Master Franchise Agreement with Coffee & Brands Sweden AB Calls for the Development of 30 Dunkin' Donuts Restaurants Across Sweden over the Next Five Years

May 15, 2014 // Franchising.com // CANTON, Mass. – Dunkin' Donuts, one of the world's leading coffee and baked goods chains, today announced that it has signed a master franchise agreement with Coffee & Brands Sweden AB to begin developing Dunkin' Donuts restaurants across Sweden. The leaders of the franchise group, Oskar Svensson, Tommy Svensson and Johan Sjöhagra, have a wealth of business and retail experience in Sweden. The master franchise agreement calls for the development of 30 Dunkin' Donuts restaurants throughout Sweden over the next five years, with an initial focus on the Stockholm area.

Dunkin' Donuts currently has nearly 11,000 restaurants in 33 countries around the world, including more than 125 locations across Europe in Bulgaria, Germany, Russia, Spain and the United Kingdom. Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in Sweden will feature the brand's wide range of coffees, espresso-based beverages, teas, Coolatta® frozen drinks, bagels, muffins, croissants, donuts, sandwiches and wraps, all served fast in friendly, convenient locations and at a great value. The brand will also offer regional menu items specific to Sweden to cater to local tastes.
