BAB Systems, Inc. Announces Sweepstakes Winner

DEERFIELD, Ill. - May 19, 2014  - (BUSINESS WIRE) - BAB Systems, Inc., the franchising subsidiary of BAB, Inc. (OTCBB: BABB) today announced the results of its March 2014 "Lucky 7" sweepstakes, which was a system-wide promotional event at its Big Apple Bagels® and My Favorite Muffin® national chains.

The "Lucky 7" promotion, themed around St. Patrick’s Day, ran from March 10-31, 2014. Stores featured different deals throughout the event, highlighted by a variety of 7-cent specials during the week leading up to St. Patrick’s Day. Throughout the course of the event, customers had the opportunity to enter the Lucky Seven Sweepstakes, for which the Grand Prize was a trip for 2 to Ireland, including airfare, hotel accommodations and tour activities.

The lucky winner, whose name was drawn out of thousands of entries, is Stephanie Shier, a customer of the Big Apple Bagels located at 3205 S. Westnedge Avenue, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Stephanie, who has been a loyal Big Apple Bagels customer since 2006, stated that she loves her local BAB store because of the high quality of the products they offer and the great customer service she always receives. Commented Stephanie, "Their bagels are the best in town!"

The Westnedge Avenue BAB location has been part of the Kalamazoo community since it opened in 1997. The store is owned and operated by Kalamazoo residents Doug and Lisa Victoria, of Victoria Management, LLC. In 2013, the store added BAB’s new brand, SweetDuet self-serve frozen yogurt, to its menu line-up. The Victorias were excited to learn that the winner of the national sweepstakes drawing was a customer of theirs, out of all the Big Apple Bagels and My Favorite Muffin stores nationwide. Said Lisa Victoria, "Our family and crew think it’s fantastic that the national winner actually came from our store. We’re all thrilled for Stephanie."

The prize is to be formally awarded to Stephanie at the store on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. by representatives of BAB Systems, Inc.
