The programs, held in Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa, from May 14 – 16, brought together experienced professionals to address recent issues in the pharmacy industry. Speakers included Ned Milenkovich, Roetzel’s Health Care, Drug & Pharmacy Industry Group Manager, who addressed industry trends and insights, including the federalization of compounding pharmacies, FDA “Track & Trace” legislation and DEA diversion issues; Brian E. Dickerson, Practice Group Manager for Roetzel’s White Collar Litigation & Corporate Compliance Group, accompanied by Roetzel partner Nicole Hughes Waid, spoke on fraud, waste and abuse compliance for pharmacies. Jennifer L. Baun, Director at Comprehensive Audit Prevention Services, focused on pharmacy audit prevention and recovery mitigation strategies.
