Ameet Birring Joins EXIT Realty Consultants

Ceres, California (Grassroots Newswire) May 29th, 2014 - Ameet is a Central Valley boy through and through. He was born in Modesto, raised in Ceres and spent every summer from the age of 12 to 22 working on the family almond farm in Merced.

Thanks to the lessons of hard work learned by working on the farm, Ameet has also excelled academically his whole life. He attended Caswell Elementary School in Ceres where he graduated salutatorian (he got a "B" in handwriting!) He then attended Saint Stanislaus Parish School in Modesto for 7th and 8th grade and was one of only three students to receive straight A's in all subjects his 8th grade year. For high school, Ameet went to Central Catholic High School in Modesto, graduating as a top ten student in 2004.

Despite gaining admission to numerous colleges, Ameet decided to stick to the Central Valley and enrolled at UC Davis for college. He double majored in English and History (emphasis on American history), making Dean's List 8 quarters. Ameet graduated from Davis in 2004 and spent a year volunteering at the Modesto office of California Rural Legal Assistance where he assisted poverty level clients with various legal issues.

Ameet moved to Seattle in 2009 to attend Seattle University School of Law. He graduated law school in May 2012 and sat for the Washington State Bar in July 2012, passing on his first attempt. He then spent about a year working as an attorney at DC Law Group, a law firm he had interned with since his second year of law school. At DC Law Group, Ameet’s practice focused on real estate and small business transactions.

Though Ameet loved Seattle, he become homesick for the Valley and moved back to California in August 2013. He sat for the February 2014 California Bar exam and passed it on his first attempt. He also passed his real estate salesperson exam in May 2014 and is excited to work both as an attorney and real estate salesperson. Ameet is recently engaged to Satinder Gill of Elk Grove and they plan to settle down in Stanislaus County, he looks forward to starting his new life as husband, attorney, and Realtor.
