David C. Strosnider Speaks at Chicago Regional Conference of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries

Strosnider, a partner in Roetzel's Chicago office, is set to conduct a workshop at the 2014 Chicago Regional Conference of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA). The two-day conference begins on June 5 at The Hotel Chicago.
Mr. Strosnider's Workshop, entitled "The New Intersection of Health Care and Retirement Plans: How the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Will Affect Your Clients' Benefit Plans and Your Business," will focus on the actions that employers are now taking to comply with the provisions of the ACA and how those actions may call for the reallocation of benefit dollars from other funds, including retirement plans. The panel will discuss the long reach of the ACA on changes in workforce demographics, concerns about retirement readiness, deferred retirements and employer decisions on the benefit plan budget.
Mr. Strosnider focuses his practice on executive compensation, employee benefits and ERISA. He advises senior management, boards of directors, compensation committees and plan fiduciaries at public and private companies, and non-profit organizations. He also represents executives in the negotiation and documentation of their C-level employment agreements. In addition, Mr. Strosnider counsels clients on a wide range of employee benefits matters including, tax compliance, design and plan documentation, and termination issues associated with tax qualified retirement plans, and health and welfare plans.
