V's Barbershop Now Open in CityScape, Downtown Phoenix

Offers Traditional Barbershop Services in an Upscale Environment at a Reasonable Price

Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) June 03, 2014 - V's Barbershop®, the leading authentic and upscale barbershop experience, is proud to announce the opening of its newest location in Arizona at 1 E. Washington St., Suite 270 at CityScape, directly across from Gold's Gym in the main floor lobby of the CityScape office tower. The CityScape location is the ninth V's Barbershop to open in the Phoenix market. The barbershop has five authentic and beautifully restored antique Koken barber chairs from the 1950's, shoeshine services, and amenities such as flat screen televisions, quality grooming products and iconic artwork. In addition, this location features a full bar top and is serving craft beer and wine starting at $2. V's Barbershop will be celebrating their Grand Opening festivities with a 3pm – 7pm Happy Hour on Thursday, June 12th. Festivities will include "2 bit" (50 cent) beers, food, give-a-ways and more. Mayor Greg Stanton is expected to make an appearance to help celebrate this new addition to downtown Phoenix.

Coming from a family of barbers, entrepreneur Rob Cammarata and his wife Kristin were inspired to bring V's to CityScape after a visit to the original V's Barbershop location in Phoenix, AZ, and working with founder Jim Valenzuela and his team. "The V's experience is much more than a great haircut, old fashioned straight-edge shave or shoeshine. We are excited to bring an authentic barbershop experience into the new and vibrant Phoenix downtown area. We are here to provide the very best in barbershop services to the downtown community for many years to come."

"This is a significant opening for us at V's Barbershop," said Jim Valenzuela, V's Barbershop Founder and CEO. "Not only are we opening the ninth V's Barbershop in our home market of Phoenix, we are also entering into downtown Phoenix, a part of the city that has turned into a place for Phoenicians to eat, drink, shop, work and study. With the success of not only the CityScape project, but also with the athletic and convention facilities all in close proximity, we expect downtown Phoenix to rise to the ranks of great American downtown environments and become a significant destination. I am extremely pleased that V's has returned to downtown. We plan on being here for a long time and becoming an integral part of the community."
