Cherry Blow Dry Bar Continues to Grow with Southern New Jersey and Eastern Philadelphia Expansion Plans

Cherry Blow Dry Bar's brand continues to expand throughout the United States this year.

May 21, 2014 // Franchising.com // New Jersey – There is an increasing demand for perfectly-styled and affordable beauty services in the United States. With the hair salon industry now at $40 billion per year, the blow dry niche is one of the industry's fastest growing segments.

As a way to meet this rising demand in the United States, serial entrepreneur and founder of the highly successful Australian Blow Dry Bar brand Nathan Cuneen launched the American blow dry bar version, Cherry Blow Dry Bar in 2013. Currently, two locations are open with several more scheduled to open later this year.

The Cherry Blow Dry Bar franchise is now expanding to Southern New Jersey and Eastern Philadelphia. Fred and Steve Vicario, two of New Jersey's premier area developers and franchise veterans with more than 25 years of experience, will be managing development in the area. They will be overseeing the development of 40 locations over the next five to 10 years with the first location due to open in Cherry Hill, New Jersey in the next six months. The Vicario brothers have significant experience in developing service franchise brands including Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa.

"Since we've have been involved with the service franchising and beauty business for so many years, Cherry Blow Dry Bar's unique concept and business model attracted us and made us want to be a part of an exciting new brand," says Fred. "We also see Cherry Blow Dry Bar as a unique opportunity to compliment our franchise brand, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa," added Steve.

"We are very excited to work with Fred and Steve Vicario," says Nathan. "With their 25 years' plus experience, Cherry Blow Dry Bar will become the first choice to franchisees and consumers alike throughout the area."

The Cherry Blow Dry Bar business model offers franchisees a variety of unique benefits and features, including: (1) an owner-investor model (no need to be on site full-time); (2) no hair care industry experience necessary; (3) site selection and building assistance; (5) marketing and public relations support; and (5) national brand-building initiatives.
