Dutch Bros. Celebrates First Raleigh Hills Location with Community Give-Back

June 05, 2014 // Franchising.com // RALEIGH HILLS, Ore. – On Friday, June 6, Dutch Bros. Coffee is opening a new location at 5482 SW Beaverton Hwy. in Raleigh Hills, and all 16-oz. drinks will cost just $1 with proceeds benefiting Wilson High School.

From 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. that day, all 16-oz. drinks will cost $1, including specialty coffee, smoothies, freezes and our private-label energy drink, Dutch Bros. Blue Rebel TM.

"We are thrilled to be opening a new location in the SW Portland-Area," said Tina Thompson. "It's not just about serving great coffee, but building relationships and getting involved with our local community."

Locally owned and operated by Mike Gonzales and Tina Thompson, this will be their second Dutch Bros. location with their first located at 8940 SW Hall Blvd., Beaverton.

"We want to thank everyone who has supported us along the way," said Mike. "We appreciate our family, friends, customers and staff. We wouldn't be here without them."

The new location will be open 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Since opening in 2008, Mike and Tina have given back over $20,000 to local causes including, Playworks, Beaverton High School Jam The Dam, Make-A-Wish Oregon, Muscular Dystrophy Association and local schools.

"I think it's awesome we have the opportunity to give back to our local community," said Tina. "It's an amazing feeling to help others."

About Dutch Bros. Beaverton/Raleigh Hills

Locally owned and operated by husband-wife team Mike Gonzales and Tina Thompson their first Beaverton location opened in 2008.

Mike and Tina fell in love with Dutch Bros., and each other, while attending at the University of Oregon in Eugene. The customer service, laid-back environment and happy broista's spoke to them as customers and lead them to become a part of the Dutch Bros. family.

They are excited about their new location in SW Portland. "We're stoked to grow," said Mike. "We cannot wait to serve our customers and community," continued Tina.
