Dentons Expands Corporate Practice with Arrival of Susan Greenspon in Chicago

June 06, 2014 // Franchising.com // Chicago, IL - Dentons announced today that Susan Greenspon has joined its Corporate practice in the Chicago office. Greenspon focuses on the general representation of public and private companies in matters across the corporate spectrum.

Greenspon has a broad range of experience representing companies in connection with cross border corporate transactions, including financings, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance, among many other business issues. She represents enterprises in all stages of growth -- from start-ups to publicly traded companies. Her clients span a wide range of industries including health and beauty, technology, real estate, manufacturing and retail.

"Susan is an established corporate counselor to companies both large and small," said Mike McNamara, US managing partner of Dentons. "Her work across many industries enhances our corporate practice in Chicago and other key markets in further serving clients."

Greenspon has extensive experience in the beauty industry, advising salons, spas, skin care, hair care and related cosmetics manufacturing companies, counseling an assortment of clients including H2O Plus, Oscar Blandi, Anthony Cristiano Salon, Eleven Skin, Obliphica Professional and others on formation, financings, joint venture, acquisitions and licensing agreements. She also negotiates employment and separation agreements for senior management on behalf of her clients.

Greenspon earned her JD from Loyola University School of Law, where she graduated in the top ten percent of her class and was the recipient of multiple awards including the Loyola Academic Achievement Award, American Jurisprudence Award in Securities Law and the American Jurisprudence Award in Environmental Law. She received her BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
