Quaker Steak & Lube® Revs Up New Menu for Summer

Award-Winning Casual Dining Franchise Celebrates 40th Anniversary Year with Fresh New Flavors 

June 09, 2014 // Franchising.com // SHARON, PA. – The Award-Winning casual-dining franchise Quaker Steak & Lube®, known for its Best Wings USA and more than 25 sauces, announced today that participating locations nationwide are cruising into summer with a new menu. Marking its 40th anniversary this year, the company is celebrating four smokin' hot decades with a souped-up menu of new shareable appetizers, two new sauces for those award-winning wings, burgers, fresh salads and other healthy, Lube-A-Licious Lite options.

"A milestone anniversary year like this one is a great time to celebrate all the crave-able food and features that make us unique while introducing new savory and delicious favorites to our fans," said Megan Duniec, senior director of marketing, Quaker Steak & Lube®.

The 50th anniversary of chicken wings calls for a celebration too, so The Lube® has brought its award-winning wings to the center of the menu and debuted two new signature flavors, Dusted Island Jerk and The Lube's Sriracha. The sun-ripened Serrano pepper sauce makes an appearance again in the Starting Line Up, which includes loads of shareable appetizers like the new Sriracha Chicken Tacos. Beefed-Up Steakburgers set the pace in the burger and sandwich section, which now includes a Steak on Steak Burger topped with tender shaved Chipotle BBQ sirloin and choice of melted cheese.

On the lighter side, the menu boasts a brand new Southwest Fajita Salad and a first-time-ever soup and salad combo for a fast, affordable lunch. A Chargrilled Salmon Fillet Your Way served with Lube sauce or flavor dusted with a choice of dry rub is a healthy, customizable option.

Fans will want to save room for dessert. The What The Fudge?! features rich dark fudge, caramel, candied pecans and Vanilla Bean ice cream with whipped cream and a cherry on top, all served in a souvenir jar.

The compelling décor, including race cars suspended from the ceilings, motorcycles, Corvettes and motor-themed memorabilia, combined with its craveable food and SuperCharged events, has created a cult-like following for The Lube® for 40 years.
