The 80 cent price commemorates the brand's 80th anniversary, happening this year. Express shoppes offer Carvel's most popular fountain items, including cups and cones, Classic Sundaes, Shakes and Carvelanche® blended treats.
The new location is owned by local Auntie Anne's franchise owner Bob Haas. Haas decided to add the Carvel express shoppe to his existing Auntie Anne's to offer commuters portable treats that complement the brand's fresh, hand-rolled snacks.

This year, Carvel also unveiled a new full shoppe design to celebrate their 80th anniversary.
