Marble Slab Creamery® Brings Snow to Houston on the First Day of Summer

SUGAR LAND, Texas - June 21, 2014 // PRNewswire // - Snowfall sighted in the Houston area! On the first day of summer (June 21), Marble Slab Creamery® in Sugar Land, Texas, "Mixed Up" the seasons and created one foot of snow in the parking lot to help families cool down and have fun. Customers who wore winter clothes and gear (hats, gloves, sweaters, puffy jackets, ski goggles, etc.) received a buy-one-get-one ice cream offer to enjoy in a winter wonderland setting. Customers who wore winter clothing to any Marble Slab Creamery or MaggieMoo's Ice Cream & Treatery® location across the country also received the ice cream offer.

This winter-inspired promotion was part of "The Marble Slab Mix-Up," intended to promote Marble Slab and MaggieMoo's "Unlimited Mix-Ins" pricing, which allows customers to select the size of their homemade ice cream treat and add as many mix-ins that will fit into the ordered cup or cone size for a set price. With this offer, families have the opportunity to properly budget for their cold treats and take a break from the summer heat.
