Cousins Subs® Launches New Online Ordering System and Mobile App

Enhanced Platform Improves Guest Experience and Streamlines Operations

June 26, 2014 // Franchising.com // MILWAUKEE - Cousins Subs has launched a new online ordering system and mobile app for all locations with system-wide implementation expected to be completed by the end of July. The new system, which was tested in 25 Cousins restaurants in the first quarter of 2014, features an enhanced user experience and group ordering. Guests can place orders by visiting www.cousinssubs.com or by downloading the mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.

"The launch of our new online ordering system ties back into our ongoing commitment to provide a better overall experience for our guests," said Justin McCoy, vice president of marketing for Cousins Subs. "As more and more consumers turn to online ordering, we wanted to ensure that our system is as fast and easy-to-use as possible. We're very pleased with the end result and anticipate strong consumer response."

The new ordering system from Cousins is powered by Olo, a best-in-class provider of online and mobile ordering for the restaurant industry. In addition to the system's user-friendly interface, a guest-ordering feature is also integrated, meaning users aren't forced to log in to place an order. Frequent Cousins customers have the option to create an online ordering account that allows them to save their favorite stores, favorite orders and credit card information, ensuring a quick ordering process time and time again.

"Olo's system works seamlessly with our website, ensuring customers have a smooth online ordering experience," said Matthew Somoles, director of field services. "The new system will also create in-store efficiencies for our operators and help drive new sales. In fact, throughout our three month test period, the average check increased by nearly 33 percent."
