Realogy-Affiliate Sales Professionals Claim 288 of Top 1,000 Spots in Prestigious Ranking by REAL Trends/The Wall Street Journal

One-quarter of Top 25 Spots across All Categories Affiliated with Realogy Brands or Its Company-Owned Brokerage

June 27, 2014 // Franchising.com // MADISON, N.J. - Nearly 29% of America’s top residential real estate sales professionals are affiliated with Realogy Holdings Corp. (NYSE: RLGY) brands, according to the 2014 REAL Trends/The Wall Street Journal "Top Thousand" report released today. The report ranks America’s top 1,000 residential real estate agents and teams based on 2013 annual sales volume and transaction sides.

Realogy's residential brands include Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate, CENTURY 21®, Coldwell Banker®, ERA®, Sotheby's International Realty®, and The Corcoran Group®.

The Top Thousand is divided into four categories, each listing their top 250 designees: individual agent by sales volume, individual agent by transaction sides, team by sales volume and team by transaction sides.

Agents and teams affiliated with Realogy brands – specifically the company-owned offices operated by Realogy’s subsidiary, NRT LLC, and the independently owned and operated franchisees of the Realogy Franchise Group – accounted for:

• 116 of the Top 250 Agents by Sales Volume (46 percent)
• 91 of the Top 250 Agents by Transaction Sides (36 percent)
• 51 of the Top 250 Teams by Sales Volume (20 percent)
• 30 of the Top 250 Teams by Transaction Sides (12 percent)

Sales associates affiliated with NRT offices represent 35 percent (87) of the spots within the Top 250 Agents by Sales Volume. In total, NRT accounts for 15 percent (146) of the agents and teams included in the rankings.

Of all brands on the ranking, Coldwell Banker holds the most overall spots in individual agent sales volume (58), and also features the No. 1 performing team based on sales volume ? The Jills^® of Miami Beach, Fla., with more than $551 million (2nd consecutive year at No. 1).

As shown below, one-quarter of the Top 25 spots across the four categories are held by agents and teams affiliated with a Realogy brand or company-owned brokerage:
