Utah's Second Zaxby's Hatched Monday, June 23, with a Grand Opening Celebration

First 100 Guests Will Receive A Zaxby's Fanatic Pack of FREE Dealz For A Year*

West Valley, Utah - June, 20, 2014 - It's a grand opening celebration for Utah's second Zaxby's location, and everyone is invited! Mike Cummings, with brothers Jeff Howes and Ryan Howes, will open the doors to West Valley's first Zaxby's restaurant Monday. A Southeast favorite for chicken fingers and wings and one of the nation's fastest growing restaurant chains, the new restaurant is located at 2685 South High Commons Way, and will operate Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

To celebrate the official grand opening this Monday, June 23, the first 100 guests in line will receive a Zaxby's Fanatic Pack with 52 FREE Dealz from Zaxby's. Each card is valid for one week, for the dates specified.* Zaxby's new Fanatic Pack of Free Dealz will include menu favorites like a free Meal Deal, a free Milkshake, a free Zappetizer, and more.

"We are excited to be a part of the West Valley community and can't wait to see everyone on grand opening day to celebrate with us!" said Cummings, who, along with his partners, owns the new Zaxby's location in Ogden, Utah, that opened in February. "It's important to us to build longstanding partnerships and be a part of the community we serve. We are looking forward to beginning those relationships in West Valley."

The new 3,600-square-foot location will seat 75 in Zaxby's unique design - floor-to-ceiling brick walls, modernized tables and booths, all complemented by an eclectic mix of photography. Zaxby's also offers drive-thru services to meet the needs of customers on the go.

Jeff Howes believes the restaurant - from the atmosphere to the service - will exceed community expectations. "We've assembled a great group of team members who will deliver on the Zaxby's mission to 'consistently create encore experiences that enrich lives one person at a time,'" said Jeff Howes.

An alternative to fast food, Zaxby's offers prepared-at-order chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches and salads. Zaxby's most popular items are its hand-breaded Chicken Fingerz and Traditional or Boneless Wings, smothered in a choice of nine sauces with names like Wimpy, Tongue Torch, Nuclear and Insane.

West Valley Zaxby's guests can also enjoy The Coca-Cola Company's proprietary drink fountain, Coca-Cola Freestyle.® The sleek, stylish fountain is touch screen operated, enabling guests to select from more than 100 regular and low-calorie brands – including many varieties of waters, sports drinks, lemonades and sparkling beverages that, prior to the arrival of Coca-Cola Freestyle®, were not available in the U.S.

The lunch and dinner menus offer innovative Zappetizers like Tater Chips, Spicy Fried Mushrooms and Fried White Cheddar Bites, as well as a variety of Party Platterz perfect for any family gathering or special occasion.

Zaxby's also offers four salads, or Zalads: The House, The Blue, The Caesar and its newest addition The Cobb. All of Zaxby's Zalads offer more chicken, unique ingredients, such as French-fried onions, fresh veggies and juicy tomatoes, and are larger than most salads offered elsewhere. Each is prepared with chicken, three kinds of lettuce and a variety of toppings. Zalads are assembled at the time the order is placed, versus being pre-made and stored in a cooler.

Additionally, Zaxby's offers a new line of premium milkshakes, including the popular Birthday Cake and Banana Pudding Milkshakes and the new Chocolate Cookie Milkshake. They are rich and creamy, hand-blended, and are topped with whipped cream.
