Kinston-Based Bojangles' Franchisee Recognized at Ernst & Young Awards Gala

Cameron McRae, president and CEO of Tands, Inc., honored as finalist at EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

July 01, 2014 // Franchising.com // Kinston, N.C. – Bojangles' is proud to congratulate long-time franchise partner Cameron McRae, president and CEO of Kinston, N.C.-based Tands, Inc., on being recognized as a finalist in the Southeast Region for the 2014 Ernst & Young (EY) Entrepreneur of the Year awards.

Each year, EY recognizes the top business leaders in more than 145 cities in more than 60 countries as part of the Entrepreneur of the Year program. Finalists and eventual winners in various categories are chosen based on their ability to demonstrate leadership and achievement, as well as their passion for inspiring others to succeed.

One of three finalists from an impressive pool of nominations, McRae was recognized in the "Food and Beverage" category at special awards gala held June 26, 2014 at the Intercontinental Buckhead in Atlanta.

McCrae opened Tands' first Bojangles' location in 1980 and under his leadership, Tands has grown to become one of Bojangles' largest and most successful franchise entities, operating nearly 60 restaurants throughout eastern North Carolina and Richmond, Va.
