FRANdata Names Minnesota-Based Lillians to Prestigious List of Top Brands Led by Women
PLYMOUTH, Minn. - July 8, 2014 // PRNewswire // - Lillians®, The Hippest Shoppe in Town®, was named a top women-led brand by FRANdata. The recognition is based on a survey which researched women-led franchise brands and ranked them by units. FRANdata has been studying and reporting on franchising activity in the United States for more than 20 years. The list was published in the May 2014 issue of Franchise Update, a publication focused on franchise management and growth in the domestic and international marketplace.
Researchers found nearly 200 brands with more than 31,000 total units that were founded by, are chaired by and/or have women CEOs. Plymouth, Minn.-based Lillian's currently has 27 locations in nine states. The company was founded in 2005 by enterprising sisters, Cindy Deuser and Sue Olmscheid.
