SAN DIEGO - July 09, 2014 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc. (OTC Markets: VEND), North America's leading healthy vending franchisor, announces 100 locations secured in June, for the intended placement of healthy snack machines across the country. Rounding the quarter ended June 30, 2014, the Company has entered into agreements with a total of 273 new locations on behalf of its franchise network.

School campuses made up more than 30 percent of June's secured locations, as Fresh Healthy Vending supports the efforts of the USDA's Smart Snacks in School standards, requiring schools to offer food items that meet certain requirements in relation to calories, sodium, fat and sugar. The Company recently launched its website platform www.freshandhealthy.org, which caters to the new USDA guidelines and supports locations looking to implement a healthy vending program.
