St. Petersburg, FL (PRWEB) July 09, 2014 - For the last 20 years, single mom Kelly Evans has worked to support and raise her two children. Now that her children are grown, Evans wanted an encore career that would fulfill her on a different level. That’s why she recently decided to launch Caring Transitions of St. Petersburg.
Caring Transitions is America’s largest resource specializing in managing senior relocations, downsizing and estate liquidations. In addition to the organizing, packing and move oversight, Caring Transitions can handle on-site or online estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions of St. Petersburg serves St. Petersburg, Largo, Seminole, Pinellas Park, Clearwater, Tierra Verde, Pinellas County and the surrounding areas.
The idea to franchise with Caring Transitions began to shape when Evans was caring for her mother.
"A couple of years ago, I was working and taking care of my aging mother. Many of my corporate colleagues were doing the same – juggling careers, aging parents, and growing children. Many of us were spending our vacation time addressing the needs of our parents because we did not have adequate resources to support us. When I decided to leave my corporate job, I researched opportunities to help sandwich generation members like me, and I found Caring Transitions," Evans said.
"It seemed like a great fit for my marketing and project management background as well as my desire to serve seniors and their families with the kindness and respect they deserve," she added.
Prior to opening Caring Transitions, Evans worked in telecommunications in a variety of capacities including sales and marketing, product management and project management. Most recently she led an international team of implementation managers focused on implementing new and complex solutions for major wireless carriers globally. Evans has a BA in Math and Economics from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Evans also is working to become a Certified Appraiser.
Each Caring Transitions franchisee is a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist, a designation bestowed by an independent organization that evaluates providers of senior relocation services. They are trained, bonded and insured. This new franchise will bring several new jobs to the area as the business grows.
"We are a professional company dedicated to managing senior moves and specializing in estate sales. We have a variety of people who do estate sales as a hobby or as a favor to their neighbors or clients, but this is what we do. We handle all of the stuff so our clients can focus on what’s important – family," Evans said. "And when you work with us, you’ll know that you won’t be surprised by any hidden fees or hassles. We love what we do and our goal is to get the most value for our customers."
"Moving and running estate sales – including online estate sales – is what we specialize in," she added.
Founded in 2006, Caring Transitions has been a trusted and highly respected national company leading the way in senior relocation, household liquidations and estate sale management in more than 130 locations across the United States.
