The Kingstowne location is la Madeleine's fifth in Northern Virginia, and ninth in Metropolitan Washington D.C., joining another nearby café in Alexandria (500 King Street). The design reflects the brand's new layout and décor, which unites comfort with the French country atmosphere – the signature la Madeleine motif. Wood floors, hearth fireplaces, rustic beams and a lighter color palette all accentuate the brand's updated look and feel. La Madeleine has also enhanced its seating options, which now include banquette seating, a custom-built family table and high-top table that seats 12.
