Carman McNary appointed Managing Partner of Dentons' Edmonton Office
July 17, 2014 // Franchising.com // Edmonton - Dentons Canada LLP (Dentons) is pleased to announce the appointment of Carman McNary, Q.C., as Managing Partner of the firm's Edmonton office.
A long-time partner and former chair of the firm's National Tax Group, Carman's practice encompasses all areas of taxation and corporate law with emphasis on compliance and dispute resolution with government agencies, and on corporate tax strategies, structures and governance of tax risk.

In addition to his many practice and firmwide commitments, Carman is active in the Edmonton community and sits on several Boards for private corporations and not-for-profit organizations, including his work as Chair of the Edmonton Community Foundation. He is a highly sought-after speaker on a number of topics in the area of taxation for the Canadian Tax Foundation, and was a sessional lecturer in taxation for the Faculty of Law, University of Alberta.
