Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers Opening in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on Monday, July 21

Handcrafted pizza, unique artwork and a full service bar are just a few reasons to stop into Mellow Mushroom Rock Hill beginning Monday, July 21.

July 18, 2014 // Franchising.com // Rock Hill, SC - Rock Hill residents will now be able to enjoy fresh handcrafted pizza, craft beer and much more at the newest addition to the community, Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers, opening on Monday, July 21. Mellow Mushroom Rock Hill will open at 1940 Cinema Drive across from the Regal Manchester Cinema in Manchester Village.

The owners of this location, Chuck Watson, Brian Johnsey and Charles Ryan, are thrilled to bring Mellow Mushroom to the Rock Hill community. "Rock Hill has a great mixture of growth and well preserved history," states Watson. He continues, "Being along the I-77 corridor, we are excited to be a terrific option for commuters and travelers as well."

The menu features a variety of pizzas, hoagies, salads, calzones and appetizers. Options for vegetarians, vegans, kids, and those on a gluten-free plan are also available.

Each Mellow Mushroom location is a unique, one of a kind design, with the same core menu. From the open kitchen to behind the bar, local trends and flair are incorporated into the settings, designed and created to reflect each unique location.

Inspired by classic sci-fi writers Jules Verne and H.G. Wells, a story of creativity and invention unfolds throughout Mellow Rock Hill. An enormous metallic octopus greets guests in the entry, followed by a psychedelic wall sculpture made from reclaimed organ pipes and a bar reminiscent of a luxuriously appointed engine room.

A large dirigible airship blows a jet stream of top hats back into a private dining room, which itself features clever robot creatures. The veranda boasts oil panels that offer a glimpse into the world of a secret society of inventors, while overhead marches a procession of their inventions for time travel. A submarine booth offers guests another world in which to dine, surrounded by artistic ocean creatures lurking in this private dining setting.

This Mellow provides something for the entire family, including a full service bar with 30 ever changing draft beers, private seating for 18 and televisions for sports viewing pleasure. Wherever you settle in for a Mellow experience, this newest mellow locale features a wonderland of fun. Guests should explore the depths of details and surprises at each and every turn.
