As vice president of operations for The Melting Pot, Margait oversees overall restaurant operations, service, menu, restaurant environment, cleanliness standards, service style, service systems, food safety and internal marketing initiatives.
Margait joined The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc., in 2003 as a franchise business consultant. He was promoted to director of restaurant operations in 2009. Margait began his career in the restaurant industry as a manager with Chart House Restaurants. He also held management positions with Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery and Ale House Restaurants.
The Melting Pot operates more than 135 restaurants in the U.S., Canada and Mexico and has more than 25 locations in development internationally. The nearly 40-year-old concept is known for offering an assortment of flavorful fondue dishes including a variety of unique entrées served with signature dipping sauces.
