TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Growth Continued with Q2 Earnings

Franchisee Earns Revenue of $1 Million in a Month's Time; Thriving Brand Signs 300th Location

LANSING, Mich. -  July 28, 2014 // PRNewswire // - TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, the franchising industry's leading moving services brand, enters Q3 with confidence after achieving continued growth in revenue the first half of 2014, continuing on a trend the company has been experiencing for more than five years.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® wrapped up a solid second quarter of 2014 with impressive results, disclosing revenues totaling $100,135,200, a 12.56 percent increase from the preceding year. Over the entirety of Q2, the brand saw record-breaking numbers. April was among the highest referral months in the history of the company, totaling 96.36 percent, which was based off of completed electronic customer satisfaction surveys. Momentum continued in May which lead to a record-breaking June, when TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® hit their five millionth move, and one of their franchise locations achieved a system-wide record of $1 million in sales during the month – the first time this milestone has been accomplished in the system.

The entire month of June also hit $40 million, which is a huge system accomplishment, and couldn't have been achieved without the ongoing hard work and dedication of franchisees and their teams."

With a focus on ongoing growth initiatives, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is working toward surpassing their 2013 numbers by posting a system-wide revenue goal of $375 million for 2014, in addition to signing 30 franchise areas by year-end. The company is well on their way to the goal, accomplishing 18 sold territories during the first half of the year. To continue this path of momentum for the remainder of the year, the brand plans to expand by signing additional locations in top-growth markets including New Jersey, Washington, Southern California, Texas, and Oregon.

With TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®'s continued expansion into new territories and crossing over their 300th location in the second quarter, the executive team felt adjustments at Home Office could assist the brand in securing unique market advantages and boosting strategic operations. The Lansing-based corporate office is now operating a 20,000 square-foot expansion which is housing additional team members and a new sales center that will increase customer service response time. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is also continuously investing in operations and marketing automation software to systematize processes and bolster corporate-customer relationships.
