Litigator Faris Rashid Rejoins FaegreBD After Federal Court Clerkship

September 09, 2014 // Franchising.com // Minneapolis - Faris A. Rashid has rejoined Faegre Baker Daniels' business litigation team as an associate. He will represent clients in complex commercial litigation from FaegreBD's Minneapolis office.

From 2012-14, Rashid was a judicial clerk for Judge Ann D. Montgomery in U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. He previously practiced with FaegreBD from 2011-12.

Rashid has represented clients, including Fortune 500 corporations, in actions involving breach of contract, business torts, civil fraud, securities law and franchise law. He has particular experience in disputes involving breaches of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements and the misappropriation of trade secrets.

In the Minneapolis-St. Paul community, Rashid serves on the board of Tempo, the Minnesota Opera's young professionals group, and on the board of the Lexington-Hamline Community Council.

Rashid earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2010 and a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006.
