Family Opens Caring Transitions of Greater Boston

Boston, Mass. (PRWEB) September 09, 2014 - Betty and Jose Sierra and their two daughters, Kaitlyn and Corrina, are excited about bringing quality senior relocation and estate clearing services to the area with the first Caring Transitions in Massachusetts, Caring Transitions of Greater Boston.

Caring Transitions is America's largest resource specializing in managing senior relocations, downsizing and estate liquidations. In addition to organizing, packing, overseeing moves and resettling seniors in their new homes, Caring Transitions can handle on-site or online estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. Based in Newton, Caring Transitions of Greater Boston serves Newton, Wellesley, Needham, Lexington, Norwood and other communities in the Greater Boston area.

"We are here to handle all aspects of getting a senior resettled into a new home," said Betty. "We can also help families clear out the homes of loved ones who have passed on or who can't do it themselves. Those situations are stressful and emotionally challenging, but at Caring Transitions we take on that stress for our clients so they can focus on their family," Betty said.

"We are dedicated to helping people through the entire process from start to finish," Jose added. "But most importantly, we understand that getting a loved one comfortably resettled in a new home is what matters most. That's why Caring Transitions offers a full suite of services that can make a real difference in a senior's relocation experience and why we manage the entire process ourselves."

Before opening Caring Transitions, Betty had transitioned from working in a doctor's office for over 10 years to a stay-at-home mother to her two young sons. When her youngest started school, she was ready to take on something new and that's when she and Jose, a lawyer in Boston, found Caring Transitions – and what the company means for seniors and their loved ones – and thought it would be a perfect family business. So the couple teamed up with their daughters, Kaitlyn and Corrina, in starting Caring Transitions of Greater Boston. Although the entire ownership team is cross-trained to work in any facet of the business, Kaitlyn will handle senior relocation services and move management while Corrina will focus on estate sales and online auctions.

"We have been in the situation that many of our clients are facing," noted Betty. "When my mom passed away a few years ago after a long illness, we were living on the East Coast and my parents were in Las Vegas. Dealing with her estate from across the country and helping my dad move back East was extremely challenging and we learned a lot in the process – experience we have brought to Caring Transitions. Clients who work with Caring Transitions of Greater Boston will have someone they can to turn to in a tough situation – we've been there and we know what they're going through."

In addition to the services Caring Transitions provides, Betty is a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist, a designation bestowed by an independent organization that evaluates providers of senior relocation services. The team is trained, bonded and insured.

"We are running this business as a family and will be treating the folks who come to us for help as an extension of our family. They're not just clients or customers to us," Betty said.

Outside of Caring Transitions' suite of services, which can be catered to suit almost any situation, Betty and Jose also have an extensive referral network of service providers – from financial planners to realtors – who can help when Caring Transitions can't.

"We want to make the entire process as stress-free as possible for families. While there are usually no easy decisions when relocating a senior family member or clearing out a home filled with treasured memories, we want working with Caring Transitions of Greater Boston to be their one easy decision," Betty said.

Caring Transitions has been a trusted and highly respected national company leading the way in senior relocation, household liquidations and estate sale management in more than 130 locations across the United States. Caring Transitions is part of the International Franchise Association, the Small Business Association's Franchise Registry, VetFran and Minority Fran.
