Balihoo Invests In Continued Company Growth, Announces New Executives

Dave Oliveira named CEO, Pete Gombert maintains active role as Balihoo's Chairman of the Board, David O'Neill assumes role as Executive Vice President of Sales

Boise, Idaho – September 3, 2014 – Balihoo (www.balihoo.com), the leading local marketing platform helping national brands activate thousands of data-driven campaigns, announced several shifts in leadership. David Oliveira will step into the role of Chief Executive Officer at Balihoo, effective immediately, while company founder and former CEO, Pete Gombert, will advise the company in his role as Chairman of the Board. David O'Neill has assumed the role of Executive Vice President of Sales, leading the sales organization.

Oliveira is a seasoned veteran with more than 20 years of experience at some of the nation's top organizations, including Yahoo! and Mediaocean. His expansive career has spanned numerous industries, including print and digital, national brands and agencies, making him the perfect candidate to empower Balihoo to reach its full potential. In his most recent role as General Manager of MBuy, a division of Mediaocean, Oliveira led a team focused on providing technology-driven media solutions for agencies, including a white-label digital trading desk.

Balihoo also announced that David O'Neill, an industry leader with a proven track record, joins the organization as Executive Vice President of Sales, leading both the internal and enterprise sales departments. David has been involved in technology sales and sales leadership for his entire 20+ year career. He has worked for multi-billion dollar organizations, including Xerox Corporation and IBM, in various roles. David moved into the marketing space when he joined Salesforce to help build out the Marketing Cloud organization as the Central Region Vice President; David also served as Director of Global Sales for ExactTarget Social.
