Zachary Prendergast Appointed to Chair Young Lawyer Section of the Ohio State Bar Association.

September 25, 2014 // Franchising.com // Zachary Prendergast has been appointed to chair the Young Lawyer Section Council of the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA). Mr. Prendergast is among 43 lawyers appointed by OSBA President Martin E. Mohler to be chairpersons of OSBA committees and sections for 2014-2015. The OSBA maintains 31 standing committees and 11 sections, each of which monitors a particular area of law. Committees and sections work to improve the justice system by keeping Ohio lawyers informed about the latest court decisions and regulatory changes. In addition, they comment on bills before the Ohio General Assembly and draft their own legislative proposals to improve existing laws.

Mr. Prendergast is currently an associate in the firm's Cincinnati office. His focus is on business litigation and commercial loan workouts and restructuring.He earned his undergraduate degree from Marquette University in 2003 and his law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2006. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan, and is a member of the Tri-State Association for Corporate Renewal.
